Built above Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, Chalet Alpage du Bettex was designed to make the most of its stunning surroundings. From the living room as well as the bedrooms, you can admire the Aravis, the Mont-Blanc massif and the Arve valley.
For ski enthusiasts, the ski resort of Le Bettex, at 1,400m, is just 1km from the chalet. It's the starting point for several alpine and ski touring runs, as well as a ski lift heading up to Mont Joux. There is also a sledging run for family fun.
A 20-minute drive takes you to the slopes of Les Contamines-Montjoie, where the higher altitude promises better snow. All the activities in the popular resort of Megève are also accessible within 20 minutes.
And when you want to relax, you can enjoy wellness treatments and massages at the famous thermal baths of Saint-Gervais. The village also has an ice rink, a casino and a leisure centre.
Outside the ski season, an extensive network of cycling and walking trails winds through this beautiful region. Lake Passy, just 10km away, is a great place to swim, windsurf, hike or simply enjoy a family picnic in the shadow of Mont Blanc.
About the property…
Chalet Alpage du Bettex is a beautiful three-storey chalet with five bedrooms and two shower rooms. There’s plenty of room for up to 11 guests, including 10 adults.
The ground floor, where the entrance is located, is home to three warm double bedrooms with views of the Aravis, the Mont-Blanc massif, and the Arve valley. They share a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. There’s also a sauna, where you can unwind after a busy day.
The first floor is dedicated to the spacious living area, which is flooded with natural light on three sides and opens onto a long balcony. The cosy seating area has a sofa and armchairs around the TV. A wood-burning stove ensures you are warm on colder evenings and the fully equipped kitchen opens onto a large dining table. A master bedroom suite, which opens onto the balcony, has a double bed, a desk, a dressing area, and an en-suite shower room. A Nordic bath awaits you outside.
The top floor is dedicated to children. There’s a bedroom with two single beds under the eaves, served by a shower room with a toilet. Next door is a TV room with a sofa, and doors to a balcony.
On the practical side, the ground floor laundry has a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Renowned for its thermal baths fed by soothing natural springs, it attracts families and guests seeking relaxation. Its lively centre, local shops, and Belle Époque architecture make it a charming destination, perfect for discovering the Mont-Blanc region.
In winter, skiers of all ages and abilities can enjoy the varied slopes in the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, which offers 400km of runs across Megève, Combloux, Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce and Les Contamines.
